Courses in Australia can be categorized in the following :

 

Undergraduation in Australia has duration of three years. Upon completion of UG, students are awarded a Bachelor's Degree, which prepares students for professional careers as well as for further postgraduate study.

Graduate Certificate / Graduate Diploma courses are generally designed for specific vocational purposes. They may either broaden the skills already pursued in the undergraduate level or teach skills in an entirely new professional area. The duration of study is normally six months of full-time study for the Graduate Certificate and twelve months of full-time study for the Graduate Diploma.

U.S. Consulate cannot issue a visa more than 120 days before the actual start of the program in US.You will not be allowed to enter the country more than 30 days before the start of your program.

Coursework Masters which consists of coursework, project work and research in varying combinations.

  • Bachelor Degree:

    Most Australian Business schools accept the three-year graduation system for entry into the MBA programme. For most good Universities, a good first degree from a leading university in India or its equivalent is essential.
    There are some universities that accept students for the MBA without a bachelor degree if they have considerable work experience and significant professional achievements.

  • Work Experience:

    Most Australian business schools (AMBA Accredited) require a minimum of two to three years of work experience.
    There are around five to six Australian business schools that accept students who have no experience for direct entry into the MBA programme

  • GMAT is accepted and recommended by many universities. However, many Australian universities are flexible about it.
  • Civil Engineering:

    Civil engineers toil hard in the open to develop buildings and houses where we work and live. They also help them maintain those buildings. Civil engineers also take note of societal issues like energy conservation and safety of structures as well.

  • TOEFL / IELTS:

    You need to take either the TOEFL or IELTS for admission to an MBA program in Australia. This is required by almost all universities. This mandatory for most business schools even if you have studied in English medium throughout.
